We can’t imagine a year at Kindergarten without a visit from Julie Dalton and her puppets! Julie’s calm, gentle manner makes children feel safe and happy. She is a very talented puppeteer and her puppets are beautifully presented with wonderful characters and caring themes. Julie’s songs are catchy and fun and the performance allows all of the children to become involved in a very non-threatening way. This genuine, high quality presentation delights young children and their families. Julie Dalton and her Bee Happy Puppets performed for our Year Two classes as part of our unit on Traditional Tales. This informed and guided our students, as they were to perform a puppet play as part of the culmination of the unit. She discussed puppetry and ventriloquism with the students. All of the children were enthralled as Julie and her wonderful puppets performed. They also enjoyed using the puppets and interacted well with Julie. Our Year Two teachers unanimously recommend Julie and her Bee Happy Puppets to other teachers who are perhaps using a Traditional Tales context or exploring puppetry with their students.

her wonderful use of ventriloquism, her “Bee Happy” lovable furry animal puppets
appear to come to life. Julie’s message of how unique and special each child is
comes through in her delightful songs and puppets like Fritzel the dog and Chloe
the teddy bear. This is quality, positive, affirming theatre for young children.
